Engaging and Educational Opportunities

The museum offers opportunities to enrich, educate and simply enjoy the world around us through a variety of speakers and programs.  Past events have ranged from gardening tips, learning about tintypes including some depicting La Porte City Civil War soldiers, discovering how a local former FFA student has co-founded a company that has brought water to almost a million Central Americans, to enjoying the beauty of Iowa through photography.  Each is an opportunity to explore and enhance your knowledge.
